The University of South Florida has achieved its highest position ever on the well-known U.S. World and News Report list of best public universities, according to the newest rankings released this week.
At No. 44, the university has risen faster in the rankings than any other school in the country, public or private. USF ranked No. 88 for public universities in 2015, and today is positioned above or equally with six public members of the Association of American Universities (AAU), a prestigious group of the top 62 universities in the U.S. and Canada.
