Hillsborough Community College Receives Grant to Advance Racial Justice and Equity

Hillsborough Community College has been awarded a one-time grant from the Lumina Foundation, which will be used to bolster existing racial justice programming at the college.

HCC is one of 19 colleges and universities that have demonstrated “significant work to advance equity on campus and in the broader community” and will receive individual grants worth $25,000 to $50,000. HCC is the only Florida institution to receive one of the grants.
